  • The Quarterfinals of the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™ will be played on July 4, 5 and 6.

With the Group Stage coming to an end, the teams qualified for the Quarterfinals of CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™ are already thinking about the games they will face in the knockout stage. In this first stage of the knockout phase, the teams that advanced from Groups A and B will match up and, in the other bracket, Groups C and D of the competition.


The Quarterfinals of this edition of the oldest national team tournament in the world begin on July 4, with a match between Argentina, leader of Group A, and Ecuador, 2nd place in Group B (Match 25). A day later, on the 5th, Venezuela (1st place in Group B) and Canada (2nd Group A) face each other in Arlington, Texas (Match 26). This phase comes to an end on Saturday, July 6, with two matches: Uruguay (1st place in Group C) faces Brazil (2nd place in Group D) (Match 27), and Colombia (1st place in Group D) battles for the place with Panama (2nd place in Group D) (Match 28).


The Semi-Finals will take place on July 9 and 10, when the matchups between the winners of Matches 25 and 26 and the battle between the winners 27 and 28 will be held, respectively. This means that teams from the same group can face each other again for a place in the Grand Final on July 14 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

The Quarter-Final Matches



Match 25: Argentina (1st A) vs. Ecuador (2nd B)


Defending champions Argentina have won their first three games to advance as leaders of their group, and face second-ranked Group B Ecuador, who earned their qualification in their final match against Mexico.

Match 26: Venezuela (1st B) vs. Canada (2nd A)


Debutant Canada made history in its first CONMEBOL Copa América™ appearance in history and returns to the field on the second day of the knockout round. The opponent will be the leader of Group B, Venezuela, which earned the position after winning all three of its Group Stage games.

Match 27: Uruguay (1st C) vs. Brazil (2nd D)


Uruguay finished the Group Stage as the leader of its zone with 9 points and will face Brazil, second with 5 points.


When? Saturday, July 6 at 6 p.m. local time (GMT-7)


Where? Allegiant Stadium – Las Vegas, Nevada



Match 28: Colombia (1st D) vs. Panama (2nd C)


Colombia closed the Group Stage with 7 points, extended its unbeaten streak to 26 matches, and was the best in Group D. They will face Panama, which finished the Group Stage with 6 points after defeating the United States and Bolivia.
